About — Legacy Paralegal Solutions

Why Legacy Exists

Built for attorneys who need
dependable support.
Every time.

Solo and small firm attorneys shouldn't have to choose between growing their caseload and actually serving their clients. Legacy was built on that belief.

Sarah Wessel founded Legacy in 2025 with a straightforward standard: do the work well, stay on the file, and be someone attorneys can genuinely count on. That means virtual support that fits your systems—not the other way around—and a dedicated paralegal who sees your cases through from beginning to end.

Legacy specializes in estate administration throughout New York State. No handoffs. No reintroductions. Just consistent, reliable support built around your practice.

Good paralegal work requires knowing the case, knowing the client, and caring about the outcome. Quality is not something we offer as a selling point—it is the reason we exist.

No handoffs. No reintroductions. The same paralegal, every time.

Attorneys who work with us can expect accurate work, reliable follow-through, and a paralegal who treats every file with the same attention they would give their own. That is the standard Sarah built this company around, and it is the standard every client can count on.

Sarah Wessel, Founder of Legacy Paralegal Solutions

I spent more than 16 years in legal work before founding Legacy—as an in-house paralegal with the federal government, managing courtroom proceedings at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and freelancing with dozens of firms across New York and New Jersey. That background gave me a clear picture of what attorneys actually need, and an equally clear picture of how rarely they get it consistently. Legacy is my answer to that gap. I specialize in New York probate and administration proceedings, and I handle every stage of a case with the same level of attention because the work requires it and clients deserve it.

Legacy is her answer to that gap.

Sarah specializes in New York probate and administration, handling every stage of a case with the thoroughness and follow-through attorneys rely on. Her approach is detail-oriented by nature and deliberate by design.

Every file gets the same level of attention, because she believes that is what the work requires and what clients deserve.
