I am Sarah Wessel, Owner and Principal Paralegal of Legacy Paralegal Solutions, LLC.  With more than 15 years of professional experience in federal administrative law, probate and estate administration in New York and New Jersey, and civil litigation in the District of Columbia.  I specialize in supporting solo attorneys and small New York law firms in probate and administration cases by handling essential paralegal and administrative tasks including client intake, thorough document preparation, e-filing, diligent asset and debt tracking, and consistent court follow-up. My support helps increase attorneys’ billable hours and overall profits while significantly reducing operational costs.

Having served in the federal government, the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and as a freelance paralegal and case manager working with dozens of firms in New York and New Jersey, I bring a breadth of experience that has prepared me to work seamlessly and effectively with attorneys, courts, and their systems.  My work reflects a deep commitment to deliver dependable results through my thoughtful, detail-oriented approach on every assignment.

I have been a certificated paralegal since 2016, am a proud University of Florida alum, and hold a master’s degree in Paralegal Studies from the George Washington University. I am also a commissioned Florida Notary Public, providing added convenience when notarial services are needed. As a member of the National Federation of Paralegals (NFPA), the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), and the National Notary Association (NNA), I remain current with professional standards relevant to my work.
